Computer Medics of Nortwest Iowa is a member of the
Alta, Storm Lake,
Holstein and Schaller Chamber of Commerce.

A ribbon cutting was held at the Storm Lake Chamber of Commerce on August 1,
2007 to mark the opening of Computer Medics of Northwest Iowa. Owner Johnathon
Hagen was joined by the Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors.
From an article in the Storm Lake Pilot Tribune August 2, 2007:
Computer Medics of Northwest Iowa owner John Hagen was excited to
celebrate a ribbon cutting at the Storm Lake Chamber of Commerce
Wednesday morning, August 1, 2007.
"I just started taking calls in June and business has already started
picking up," Hagen said, "I am the first franchise of Computer Medics of
America to open in Iowa, and I do not know when, but another franchise
will be opening in Des Moines."
Hagen has a mobile office and will be covering a 12 county area that
includes Lyon, Osceola, Dickinson, Sioux, O'Brien, Clay, Plymouth,
Cherokee, Buena Vista, Woodbury, Ida and Sac Counties.
Hagen's service covers miltiple areas in the computer maintenance
field, including repair and service, dust removal from computers and
document digitizing.
"Right now I'm the only employee, but I will be hiring more staff in the
future to help cover the area," Hagen said.
Hagen also has a support network with other franchises to help him if
needed.
"I don't know everything about Macs, but a couple of owners of other
franchises told me to call them if I need help with them. If I don't
know something I can get assistance."

Hagen has been working in the technology field for over five years
and graduated from ITT.
"It's great to be my own boss, I don't have to answer to anyone except my
wife," Hagen chuckled.
Originally from the Omaha area, Hagen moved to this area to be close to
his wife's family. He is based out of Galva.
"I am a modile repair franchise, my truck is my office and will go to
where I'm needed." Hagen said.
As the world advances in technology and computers become more integrated
into everyday life, Hagen sees the demand for companies like his
growing.
"When I purchased my franchise, I was number 63 and (Computer Medics of
America) has already added 11 or 12 more franchises so there is a
demand," Hagen said. "Right now business is a little slow but people
are gone and not on the computers as much. When school starts up, kids
will need the computers for school work. I can see the service needed
more."
Hagen also works to make sure his customers have a "positive
experience" with understandable terms and explained problems and costs.
Hagen can be reached by phone at 1-800-853-9220 or 712-282-4633 or you
